Welcome to Roadside Assistance TN (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting, scheduling, or receiving roadside assistance services from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Provided
Roadside Assistance TN provides non-emergency roadside assistance services, including but not limited to:
- Jump starts
- Lockouts
- Tire changes
- Fuel delivery
- Minor roadside assistance services
We do not provide mechanical repairs, heavy recovery, or emergency medical services unless explicitly stated in writing.
2. Service Area
We operate throughout East Tennessee, including but not limited to the Chattanooga and Knoxville areas. Service availability may vary based on location, weather conditions, traffic, technician availability, or other factors beyond our control.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
- Accepted payment methods may include cash, credit/debit card, or electronic payment.
- Pricing may vary based on service type, location, time of day, vehicle condition, or access difficulty.
- Additional charges may apply for specialty vehicles, after-hours service, difficult access, long-distance travel, or unsafe conditions.
Failure to remit payment may result in additional fees or collection actions.
4. Customer Responsibilities
By requesting service, you confirm that:
- You are the vehicle owner or have authorization from the owner
- The vehicle is legally parked and safely accessible
- All vehicle, location, and service details provided are accurate
- The service location is reasonably safe for technicians to operate
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe or information provided is inaccurate or misleading.
5. Limitation of Liability
Roadside Assistance TN is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing vehicle damage or mechanical issues
- Damage caused by defective parts, rust, corrosion, or prior repairs
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control
Our maximum liability, if any, is limited to the total cost of the service provided.
6. Vehicle Condition
Roadside assistance services involve working on vehicles that may already be damaged or inoperable. By requesting service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your vehicle may have pre-existing issues
- Service may not fully resolve the problem
- Additional repairs by a licensed mechanic or towing provider may be required
7. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for reasons including but not limited to:
- Unsafe working conditions
- Hostile, abusive, or threatening behavior
- Illegal activity
- Misrepresentation of vehicle condition, ownership, or location
8. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations made after dispatch may be subject to a cancellation or dispatch fee
- No-shows, incorrect locations, or customers who cannot be reached upon arrival may be charged a service fee
9. Photos & Documentation
We may take photos or documentation of vehicles and service locations for purposes including:
- Quality control
- Training
- Insurance, billing, or dispute resolution
No personal information will be publicly shared without consent.
10. Communication & SMS
By contacting Roadside Assistance TN or requesting service, you consent to receive phone calls and text messages related to your service request. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of communications at any time by replying with the word END.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee.
12. Changes to Terms
Roadside Assistance TN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
